A Success Story

20 years of FLEXIM is a success story in its own right. The company was founded in spring 1990 - in turbulent times for Germany. The first office was an old storefront in East Berlin. Today, FLEXIM employs over 100 people at its new headquarters and is increasingly active on a global stage. The export portion of sales revenues has reached 65%.

FLEXIM has contributed greatly to the acceptance of ultrasonic technology in the field of flow measurement. Ten years ago ultrasonic flow meters were still very much niche products and were considered imprecise and not reliable. Today they are used as a standard method for liquid flow measurement and their market share is growing. The distribution network is expanding worldwide. NNew applications and new methods are made available. To remain in a leadership role, FLEXIM's investment in research and development is higher-than-average.
